Leaving Horta

Will be leaving in a few hours to the airport.
Looking forward to moving on and getting home to you.

we had a very nice day yesterday, rented a car and saw most of the island including the volcano crater in the middle of the island. it is a very pretty island ,very green with loads of flowers and steep cliffs coming up from the ocean.

Bruce

Dan and Bruce will have a day or so in Lisbon before flying onto London for the POW Cup race at the Royal Yacht Squadron starting next week. Bruce then trains/ferrys to Ireland - to the Dingle Penninsula and then home on July 1 from Shannon.

I don't have details on Tony, but I think he's flying home from The Azores today too.

Bruce

This was in a message much later after a few beers...

we had a nice evening , had some dinner (very nice) and then went to what seems to be the most popular bar just a short walk from the marina. we where docked next to a boat full of english millatry.they were sailing from new york, they had a crew of 12 and here we were with just the three of us. different surcume stances but it was still funny comaring us and them. nice guys though , had a few beers with them. am going to sleap now , am the last one up
